SELECTING THE PROPER MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE:
Regular maintenance intervals are recommended to ensure performance, fuel economy, and reliability. Proper maintenance not only aids performance, it's a great way to protect your investment.
If you experience any of the following, the Severe Maintenance schedule is for you. If not, follow the Regular Maintenance schedule.
*50% of driving is done in heavy city traffic during hot weather.
*Extensive idling and/or low speed (stop-and-go traffic.)
*Extended use of brakes while driving (stop-and-go traffic.)
*Repeated short trips with engine not fully warmed up, especially in freezing temperatures.
*Dusty, rough, muddy, sandy, or salt-spread roads.
*Vehicle is used for towing.
If you only experience these conditions on occasion, you should modify your maintenance schedule during those high vehicle stress times.
